New National Coordinator Appointed
|
At the 2003 National Run at Serpentine, WA, the State Presidents and Chairmen appointed Barry Day to a three year term as National Coordinator.
Since then, Barry has performed the role tirelessly, being faithful in prayer and seeking the Lord's way forward at each step. CMA around Australia has benefitted from Barry's service in this and his other roles, and we extend to Barry our thanks and appreciation for all he has done. In recognition of his contribution, CMA NSW has made Barry a life member. Congratulations Bazza!!
Barry's term as National Coordinator was completed in 2007. At the National Run in Harrietville, Victoria in November 2007, the State Presidents and Chairmen met again to (among other things) choose a National Coordinator for the next three years.
They selected Rod Williams from WA. Many of us have met Rod at past National Runs and will remember him as the one who has a medical exemption from wearing a helmet while riding. That's certainly not all there is to Rod, and we can be sure he will carry out his new role with dedication, vision and faith.
We offer our warmest congratulations to Rod on taking up this role. Rod, may the Lord Jesus lead and empower you at every step. We assure you of our ongoing support in prayer and practice.
