Another CMA AGM. Another excuse to tour around and see more of NSW. Excellent.<\/p>\n

I took the long way from Wollongong to Harden, (via Nerriga, Crookwell and Boorowa) staying at the iconic Light Horse Hotel despite the fact that I don\u2019t have a light horse. It\u2019s quite possible to get from Wollongong to Griffith in one day but that is too much like hard work and means you\u2019ve no time for sight-seeing.<\/p>\n

After eating a plate full of quite a few different animals for dinner I retired to my Victorian era pub room with open fire place and ornate ceilings.<\/p>\n

Next morning was cereal and toast because there was nothing open in town. I took a detour southwards to Cootamundra and Junee where I met Brian with his Ukulele and harmonica where I was entertained for 40 minutes with a selection from the \u201cForgotten Tunes for the Uke\u201d songbook. Northwards to the Temora Aviation Museum where they have two airworthy \u00a0Spitfires.<\/p>\n

I eventually arrived at Griffith where there was great food and hospitality supplied by Grace Church people. I was taken on a private tour of the new church facilities by Les showing all the wonderful work done by the congregation\/volunteers.<\/p>\n

The Coro Club Motel was a great recommendation by Barry Day, while others used The Grand in town or slept in the church on airbeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/td>\nAfter breakfast on Saturday we had Devotions and a tour to the Hermit\u2019s Cave and other things of a sculptural nature followed by lunch at Coro Club.\u00a0\u00a0The afternoon was taken up by the AGM which was well run with most members keen to continue in roles. The bike riding, scenery and great Christian fellowship makes it easy to forget that the reason we\u2019re meeting is for the AGM!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

A BBQ dinner was supplied by the church with excellent steamed pudding and junket which I had not eaten since I was little.<\/p>\n

Sunday church had an excellent talk by Barry on Friends as well as a talk by member of the congregation about how God answers prayer in ways that we sometimes don\u2019t really appreciate until we see the big picture.<\/p>\n

Travelling home via the Boorowa Hotel and their Special Mango Chicken Curry with chips on Sunday was fun, but a bit warm. Onward through Young, Crookwell and Goulburn then home to good old Wollongong. 1,364 km of fine biking and fellowship!<\/p>\n
