Welcome to CMA Victoria

We’re bikers who love to ride. Our members are Christians growing in their faith. Everyone is welcome to join us on our rides. We look forward to catching up real soon.

CMA – Riding with purpose

CMA was formed to “Encourage Christian riders in their God given ministries” giving you the opportunity to belong to something bigger without the regime and requirements typically found in a Motorcycle Club. We welcome all riders, regardless of your ride — cruiser, scooter, trike, sportsbike, tourer. Even if you are not riding at the present, you’re welcome to join us at our events.

Local Rides

Area co-coordinators organize set rides
around the country, where members can
invite friends along and arrange to meet at
a set time and place. One of our experienced members is usually designated to lead the ride, and someone else as the tail end Charlie.

Combined Rides

A few times each year we pick a central place
to meet, and riders from all the areas meet in
one place to catch up. Rides can be 3-4 hours
to our destination, so it can be a full day ride
for some and it’s a great chance to meet other members from around Victoria.

State Runs

Once a year we enjoy a weekend away together at our state “Gathering of Bikers”
Riders come from all over the state for this
weekend, and a great time of fellowship is
enjoyed by all. Accommodation is normally
offered which can included camping, dormitory or cabin etc.

National Runs

Once a year we meet on our national CMA run, which moves from one state to another each year. This is usually followed by a Post Run Tour which includes another 3-4 days riding, with accomodation at a caravan park used as a base to ride from each day. This is a great way to see the country, and to meet other state members from around Australia.

Social Events

During the winter months, it’s not always suitable to go riding if the weather is cold and wet. Your coordinator may organize some social events where you still get to catch up with other members and invite friends along, regardless of the weather.

Church Visits

Members are encouraged to visit churches around the country to promote CMA and encourage folk to grow in their faith

We also run Church Raids where we ride to a town for a weekender, staying overnight and conducting a Church Raid where we’re involved on a church service, providing a testimony, sharing a message etc, and we offer to take the locals for a ride around the block on our bikes – people love it.

Bikes for Pastors

We run our Bikes for Pastors Appeal each year to raise funds for Christian ministries in developing countries

The funds are used to purchase a motorcycle for their pastor to use for ministry in often rugged terrain, where their work can include evangelism, pastoral care and church planting
